Counselling Sessions

Hello and welcome . My approach as a humanistic Counsellor is to provide a warm and compassionate space where you can talk openly and feel truly heard. I believe that whatever life throws at us as humans we have the capacity to grow and heal and with help from counselling we can make sense of the experiences and challenges in life.

I see counselling as a shared journey of self-discovery. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, loss or other life challenges, i aim to create a trusting and safe relationship where you can be yourself and find new ways forward.

I often bring a gentle somatic based body-awareness into sessions. Our bodies hold experiences, emotions and memories that can create significant tensions in the body resulting in pain and discomfort.

Somatic therapy is something I offer on a one to one basis for many physical and emotional problems. Namely regulating the nervous system as a method to reduce anxiety and panic.

Writing for the Joy of it

A Creative Writing workshop

Im delighted to be offering a new workshop... Creative writing. This is something I personally get allot from and would like to give people the opportunity to spend a few hours being invited to write in a delightful cafe in Abbotskerswell, Newton Abbott, Sth Devon. The benefits are huge as we learn how to access the creative mind through a brief process of breathing, relax, and being open to inspiration.
